In my dream, I found myself within a land marked by great diversity yet seething with a palpable tension. The individuals symbolised by ‘white people’ seemed to harbor exclusivist viewpoints, believing they alone were entitled to exist within this land — a symbolic representation of America. The decision of the dream to colour these people ‘white’ could point to a purity of belief, even if misguided or extreme. Their conviction was so intensely firm that it conjured an energy of discord which permeated the psychic atmosphere. I experienced this energetically as frustration and emotional pain, causing my conscious self to awaken amidst a storm of tears.
