{continued} and we hit the dirt-or rather hit the snow. just in time, to avoid a blue-white beam which would have hit one of our men in the head. it sliced an iron lamppost in two. we had come equipped for this kind of situation. we had shields, once activated could send out energy fields in the form of concentric circles expanding in all directions at their full capacity they could turn away bullets,laser rays and any beam they could send against us. when the enemy saw this they changed their tactics. after about 15 minutes when ti seemed like everything had quieted down we saw a blue-green flare about 20 yards away. the man next to me said” that’s their signal for some new weapon.stay on alert” soon we heard the sound of a truck approaching. it was a flatbed tow truck, which pulled up in front of us about 75 feet away. its payload was a large metal cylinder about 15 feet long. 2 men in uniform dew out white powdered bags and arranged them in a line in front of the truck. then they drew unusual looking streamlined guns. and fired. the beam was light gray. the bags exploded in a cloud of white-silver mist. then the cloud began to expand outward until it covered the whole area in front of us. – about the size of 3 city blocks-then the cloud began to crystallize, the became solid,then solidified into a glacier. but a very fast moving glacier. during this time we had not been idle. al of our shields remained on maximum capacity and our sensors told us of the nature of this weapon. it was a weapon designed to capture and imprison any hostile force attacking the town.it consisted of nitrogen gas,liquis oxygen, and some other chemical compounds i had never of. according to the sensors we had all of 28 seconds to avoid this. so used frequncy and infra and ultra beams automaticaaly attuned to the glaciers frequency . the part of the glacier
