This Jamaican potentate shelters me in an architectonic wonder, a dwelling stretching into levels manifold and peppering the skyline with countless stairs. Its design echoes modernity, but its cold, impersonal structure repels my soul, creating a dissonance with my spirit’s yearning for simplicity.
He organizes a grand opera within the towering walls of this house, an event that gathers a constellation of women, entranced by his gregarious charm. My heart sears with jealousy and trepidation, and a relentless fear of becoming inconsequential gnaws at me.
Throughout this dream, I am seemingly enchanted by the ghastly allure of wealth, feeling as though I’m teetering on a precipice where I choose monetary security over the embrace of fear, security, and love. The cadences of my soul are challenged, making me question whether I’d forgo inner peace for the comfort of worldly riches.
