Interpretation on the following dream:
this dream begins in a city at night, in an adobe-like house. it had 3 bedrroms up stairs and 1 bedroom downstairs.there was no one there except for an elderly lady in a wheelchair and myself.. it also had secret rooms and passageways,which only a few people were aware of. the entrances to these secret rooms were very cleverly hidden. one was concealed in a closet as to appear part of the wall. behind these secret doorways were either stairs or passgeways which to a cladenstine rendezvous point. they would transact whatever business they were there for without any fear of discovery. there was even a secret ramp for a small flying craft to land. one landed it would descend on a hidden runway to an attic. from the attic they could access a secret meeting place. i went upstairs and searched several rooms. when i returned to the first floor,we were in conversation for a short time, when i heard a noise at the door. she drew my attention to it. when i looked through the scanner (telescopic equipment designed to encompass the whole front yard and take pictures of anyone within 50 feet of the door)i saw it was not one person trying to jimmy the lock,but four. i told the elderly lady “dont worry.i wll handle this” i concentrated and literally propelled myself forward opening the door in the process. they scattered and i found myself face to face with some of the most unlikely people to be housebreakers i had ever seen. the first one, about as tall as i was,wore a cotton shirt and a red beret. he bore a strong resemblance to Che guevara. the second one wore a uniform. with shiny knee high black boots. he wore a helmet which seemed to be a composite of italian,russian and german helmets of world war 2. his uniform was a mixture of khaki and steel gray. the third one was something else again. medium height with a long beard and steel rimmed glasses, he wore a white sweatshirt and dark gray trousers. {continued}

Unlocking the Meanings of a Peculiar Dream
In the world of dreams, everything holds a deeper meaning. The symbols and elements in our dreams offer a glimpse into our subconscious thoughts, emotions and even predict upcoming events. Using a mix of spiritual meanings, dream interpretation and cultural symbols, we will try to unlock the significance of a dream involving a secret-laden house, an elderly lady, and a group of peculiar ‘housebreakers.
The Adobe-Like House
Dreaming about houses is quite common, signifying the self and the individual’s mind. Adobe-like houses are often related to warmth, homeliness, security, and often tied to universal feminine attributes of nurturing and protection. Dreaming of such a house at night often signifies mystery and dealing with the subconscious.
The house in this dream had secret rooms and passageways, accessible only to a few. In dream interpretation, this could mean the dreamer is exploring hidden aspects of themselves, hitherto, unknown or denied. Hidden rooms can often represent hidden or forgotten abilities or memories. Romantically hidden doors indicate a journey to the unknown, expressing personal growth and self-discovery.
The presence of an elderly lady, possibly a wise figure in a wheelchair in this mysterious house signifies guidance. In many cultures, the elderly person often denotes wisdom and experience. The fact that she’s in a wheelchair can represent the dreamer’s limited mobility or impeded progress in some aspects of life.
The Intruders
The set of intruders at the door brings a fascinating element to the dream. In symbolic language, a door is a passage, often illustrating the passage from one phase of our life to another. The four intruders attempting to breach this passage takes on an intriguing meaning when dwelling upon the characteristics of each.
The first intruder with a strong resemblance to Che Guevara signifies rebellion and upheaval, possibly the dreamer experiencing considerable change or fighting against the norm. The second in a uniform bearing components of Russian, Italian, and German World War 2 gear signifies confrontation and authority. This could reflect the dreamer feeling oppressed or dominated. The third appears as an intellectual, perhaps indicating the dreamer’s confrontation with their intellectual capacities or matters related to knowledge and learning.
Interlocking Cultural Symbols
Apart from the dream interpretation, elements from Hindu, Chinese, Native American, and biblical symbolism come into play. Number three, for the bedrooms upstairs could symbolize growth and the holy trinity in Christianity. In Chinese culture, it represents the liveliness and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, number four, for the intruders and the bedroom downstairs, is considered unlucky in Chinese tradition as it sounds like “death,” which might relate to significant changes or transitions in life—death of old habits or life stages, starting over anew.
In Summary
This dream possesses layers of meaning, revealing complex aspects of the dreamer’s psyche. Through this dream, it seems the dreamer is encountering the mystery and depth of their personality, coming face-to-face with parts of their identity that may have been suppressed, and challenging varying parts of their character embodied by the uniformed man, intellectual and a rebel. Changes, transitions, rebellions, authority, and intellectual pursuit—it’s a journey of self-exploration. Dreams offer much more than surreal adventures—they serve as windows into our subconscious, our fears, aspirations, challenges, and growth.
