In my dream, an abundance of energetic entities manifesting as insects, significant in size from two to six inches, spontaneously emerge from beneath my sleeping sanctuary, symbolising a hidden deeper matter rising to the surface from the unconscious realm. They take the form of critters, creatures that are often misunderstood and associated with fear, signifying aspects of myself I haven’t fully embraced or understood.
Terrified by this spontaneous apparition, I cry out loudly, the primal call resonating deeply with my latent concerns and unresolved turmoil. Vicariously, I bound upwards multiple times, a leap that symbolises a dynamic and dramatic attempt to elevate my consciousness or spirit to a higher plane.
This dream voyage concludes with a significant act of physicality and resonance. My descent from an ascendant leap sees my right foot’s heel, the part meant to keep us grounded, in direct contact with the tender abdomen of a six-inch ant-like creature. The abdominals are known to be the area that propaigates the next generation, signifying the creation of new life or ideas. The powerful squishing act symbolises an unintentional destructive act, born out of fear and ignorance, on a valuable yet overwhelming new prospect belonging to the unconscious realm. An ant, though a bug, is renowned for its strength and industriousness – a quality I need to acknowledge within myself.

Finding them under our sleeping shelter means they are emerging from places we’ve hidden deep inside us. These bugs are big, between two and six inches, showing us just how substantial these unresolved matters in our lives are.
These aren’t just any animals, but critters people often fear or do not understand – like spiders or beetles. This connection suggests you haven’t completely grasped some aspects about yourself or there could be parts of you that scare you sometimes.

This might feel scary as squishing a bug results in killing it which can seem mean – right? But here squashing this ant represents accidentally destroying something valuable out of fear.
The creature killed was not just any bug but one like an ant – something known for its strength and hard-working nature — characteristics maybe you need to recognize within yourself more often (like being aware when we’re brave or proud about working hard on our homework!).
Foot and Abdomen – the Connection
Lastly, watch where you squished it with your foot – your heel. It’s that part that helps us keep balanced while standing. Crushing an ant (symbol of strength & hard work), particularly in its abdomen (the belly part which often is connected with birth or origination of new ideas) indicates you might be unintentionally harming some great new prospect due to lack of understanding and fear.
