this dream begins in a city enviroment,walking in a westerly direction, then coming to a 4 way stop and heading north. after walking for about 6 blocks i came to an old,rather dilapidated looking building and on an urge i crossed the street and went inside. the interior of the building was completely different from the outside. it was ultra-modern, with metal stairways on both the north and the south ends of the building. in the center was an elevator capable of carrying 58 people. i took the south stairway up. after 5 floors the building split into 2 separate sections the south and north stairways leading to different offices . on the south floor a door openedand a group of people who i thought were scientists-they were all dressed in white coats- came out . and intersestingly enough, another group of people from the north side similarly,but not identically dressed(instead of bright white uniforms they wore a more subdued cream color) but they took the elevator . i followed the first group up the south stairway. when we came to the 11th floor they opened a thick metal door by entering a code on a panel. much to my surprise they invited me in. so i went in. once inside i was amazed at what i saw. at the exreme western end there was a room with a window from the ceiling almost to the floor.the viewer could see most of the city skyline. it could be revolved around to see in the opposite direction,right now it was facing northwest. there were graphs and dials recording the wind factor of places all around the world, such as the rockies, the andes, the sonoran desert,the atlas mountains,the alps. another chart recorded the winds over bodies of water,such as the caribbean,the indian ocean ,the north sea and of course the atlantic and pacific oceans. other dials recorded the currents of the oceans of the world. other graphs showed the quality of air in a given area. {continued}
