I am nestled comfortingly on a couch, a symbol of the need for relaxation and a return to the basics of life, that resides peacefully within the warmth of my ancestral home. The presence of my brother ignites feelings of safety, intimacy and sibling camaraderie as he appears to be the guardian of my vulnerabilities. Further companionship is cemented by the presence of a boy, a testament to childhood friendships that evoke nostalgia and innocence, cementing within me feelings of safety and security – the protective shield against vulnerability.
However, amidst this tranquility, a peculiar sensation bubbles under the surface stirring a sense of guilt and loss within me – the feeling of abandoning the car, abandoning the journey I pledged to.
